Required Documentation
To obtain council or certifier approval, you'll need:

• Site Plan ( You need to apply to council )

• Engineer's Structural Certificate( Space Homes supplies )

• Electrical and Plumbing Certificates ( Space Homes supplies )

• Energy Efficiency Assessment (7-Star Rating)( Space Homes supplies )

• Form 12 and 15 Design Certificates ( Space Homes supplies )

• Foundation Drawings with Form ( Space Homes supplies )

Additional documents may be required based on local regulations.

Secondary Dwelling Regulations (Queensland) Each council and state vary.
Capsules must be within 20 meters of the main house, with setbacks of 3 meters from rear and side fences, and 1 meter from side boundaries. Maximum size: 80 m². Minimum block size: 450 m² without a Development Application (DA)  If its Primary house a DA usually required.
